Membership & Benefits

Although a membership is not required to attend any of our meetings or public events, the amount of additional items you will receive is well worth it.  Membership is open to anyone with an interest in astronomy and entitles you to the following benefits:

• A copy of the annual Observer’s Handbook
• Six issues of SkyNews magazine – the Canadian Magazine of Astronomy and Stargazing
• Six issues of the Journal, the RASC’s official publication (in electronic format)
• Member discounts on other RASC publications such as the Beginner’s Observing Guide (new members only) and the Observer’s Calendar
• Borrowing privileges from the local astronomy library
• Access to the TB-RASC Yahoo Group

Current membership costs are $67 per year for Canadian adults and $41 per year for Canadian youths (under 21).
